For seniors who wish to benefit from both services and support, our apartments include, for everyone, three daily meals served in our dining room, medication distribution, basic cable TV, as well as weekly housekeeping and laundry services, linen washing, and permanent supervision by caring staff.

Our care unit is designed for residents whose health status requires special attention. For seniors with cognitive disorders such as dementia and Alzheimer's disease, Résidence Laval Ouest offers supportive care floors. Featuring comprehensive security monitoring and additional specialized nursing and care services, these units are designed to provide maximum safety and health support in a welcoming, caring, and comfortable setting.

Résidence Laval Ouest benefits from an ideal location, in an attractive setting near shops and services. A large dining room where three meals a day are served, social activities, personal care services, a hair salon, as well as laundry and housekeeping are just a few of the thoughtful touches and pleasures available to our residents.

Although the majority of residents at the Laval Ouest seniors' residence stay with us for long periods (permanent move-ins), short stays may also be possible when availability allows.

Résidence Laval Ouest offers a wide range of care services and amenities, tailored to the specific needs of each individual. For simplicity, services such as medication distribution, meals, basic cable TV, electricity, laundry (clothes and linens), housekeeping, etc., are included in the rent.

At Résidence Laval Ouest, safety is a priority. Controlled entrances are just one example of the measures put in place to ensure the security of our residents in their home. Our staff is trained to respond to common medical emergencies, to safely evacuate the residence if necessary, and to know when to call emergency medical services.

Monitoring services operate 24 hours a day to ensure the safety and comfort of our residents. All apartment rooms and bathrooms are equipped with an emergency call bell system, and our smoke detectors are linked to a central security station.

Communication is not only important to us, it is essential to ensuring your well-being. It allows us to collaborate with you to guarantee that you—or your loved one—are safe and feel reassured. At all times, you can report a need or a concern to our staff.

Our medical support team assists our residents in meeting their daily physical, social, and psychological needs, and provides additional support services as required. Our staff works closely with our residents' families and their family doctors to monitor their condition.

Residents are regularly assessed by the care coordinator to monitor any health issues and to address any new situation or changes. Medical records are continuously updated, and our medical staff is available to answer any questions and concerns that you and your family may have.

In the event of a serious medical problem requiring hospitalization, our staff contacts Urgences-santé (emergency health services) to transfer the resident as quickly as possible. The resident's medical file, health insurance card, and hospital card are given by us to the ambulance crew. Upon the resident's return, the care coordinator reassesses their needs to ensure that appropriate personal services are administered to promote a prompt recovery.
