Day Trips & Outings
Our senior community residents are frequently invited for day outings – activities outside the residence. Typically transportation by bus or van is provided.
Places to Go, Things to Do!
Some excursions may be practical (going to the bank or to a beautician), others are purely recreational (a trip to a park, community event, a stroll by a lake). Especially for older or less mobile residents, these excursions can be an important part of maintaining variety in their lives. Some excursions are held regularly, such as trips to the store, movie theater, or hair salon. Others are for certain holidays, special community events, or other seasonal opportunities.
These day trips vary from one retirement community to another depending on the residents’ needs and the greater community resources and activities in the area.

Our Mission
Groupe LRM residences are designed to allow seniors to live in comfort, safety, and independence. With a thoroughly trained staff, and a selection of accommodation types, our goal is to provide an ideal setting for seniors to live and thrive.
Preparing for Outings
We help our residents prepare for these outings as required. We also make regular recommendations such as bringing a few “supplies” for the trip such as bottled water, crackers or other snacks, comfortable clothing and a change of underwear. Your residence will also verify that the locations are walkers and wheelchair accessible, and ensure that all residents are cleared by medical staff for the trip.
For seven years that I’m here, I get the care I am very satisfied. The food is good.
