Résidence Le Domaine des Forges Inc. is an evolving complex for seniors in the heart of Old Ste-Rose, along the Mille-Îles river. We offer serviced apartments for people with slight loss of autonomy as well as a supportive care unit with up to three hours of daily care and with special services for people with cognitive problems such as dementia or Alzheimer’s’ disease.

Facility Features
Residence Domaine des Forges has 171 senior retirement home units suitable for different needs. Located at the intersection of Ste-Rose and boulevard Curé-Labelle near shopping centers, medical and clinical services, parks, transportation, churches, and a sports center, Domaine des Forges has a superb riverside view of the Milles Iles (Thousand Islands) river. You’ll also find spacious common rooms, including a dining room serving three home cooked meals a day, a beautiful open terrace, and lovely outdoor gardens.
Semi-Autonomous Apartments
For relatively independent seniors who prefer to have some services and support, our semi-autonomous senior apartments also include three meals daily in our dining room, medication distribution, cable, television, weekly housekeeping and linen washing.
Supportive Care Units
For seniors facing cognitive challenges such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, the Domaine des Forges has supportive care service floors. Complete with full security monitoring and with added auxiliary nursing and special care services, these units are designed to provide complete safety and health support in a compassionate, attractive, and supportive setting.

Domaine des Forges has an excellent location, in an attractive setting near shopping and services. Our full service dining room serves 3 delicious meals a day. Social activities, personal care services, laundry and housekeeping are just some of the many services available to you. Medication distribution, cable, television as well as weekly housekeeping and linen washing. For seniors facing cognitive challenges as in dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, Domaine des Forges has supportive care service floors.
Special Care
The residence has three dedicated units for people facing a loss of cognitive functions or physical mobility, including a protected ‘secure’ unit for people with moderate to heavy dementia. Short-term recovery stay units may also be available for those recovering from medical treatments or conditions.
